His writing on social issues, youth culture and underground music has appeared in The Guardian, British GQ and The Fence. He is Director of External Affairs and Youth Understanding at the Youth Endowment Fund (YEF), a charity focused on preventing violence affecting children. He teaches Writing for Social Impact at City, University of London.
