Kate Weinberg was born and lives in London. She studied English at Oxford and creative writing in East Anglia. She has worked as a slush pile reader, a bookshop assistant, a journalist and a ghost writer. Her first novel, The Truants, was published by Bloomsbury in 2019; it was chosen as a Book of the Year by The Observer and The New York Times. Her second novel, There’s Nothing Wrong With Her, followed in August 2024.
